”Dear table tennis fans, dear competitors and friends, welcome to Serbia, to Novi Sad – the city of sports, the European Capital of Culture, and the city of table tennis. The tradition of our wonderful sport in Novi Sad dates back more than 90 years. Many of you were likely participants in the World Cup in 1981, which was, at the time, the largest sports competition in the world. Some of you may have also been part of the European Championship in 1974. These events have established the tradition and heritage of table tennis in Europe, and those who participated are its guardians. These distinguished players had the honor of showcasing their table tennis skills at the Fair, the location where we will all gather on June 15, 2025. Rest assured, the Table Tennis Federation of Serbia, in collaboration with the European Table Tennis Union and the City of Novi Sad, will do everything possible to provide the best conditions for a pleasant stay and excellent table tennis matches for both participants and their families. Novi Sad and its surroundings offer experiences worth seeing, tasting, and feeling, creating new friendships and memories for a lifetime.
